Steve Belovarich is an electronic artist who resides in Los Angeles, CA. Steve combines techniques from multiple digital mediums to create abstract, surreal imagery that challenges our typical perception of space and time. The work is largely an extension of artwork produced by futurists and cubists in the early 20th century who experimented with motion and time in photography and painting. While these artists thought in terms of the Machine Age, this work offers a fresh perspective from the Digital Age. The artist is exhibiting a series of kinetic photographs and video art at Gallery 381 in Los Angeles, CA this spring 2014. The Kinetic Light Exhibition was recently funded on Kickstarter.
The artist has also recently released Synth, an online video synthesizer that let's anyone create video art right inside their web browser. Discover the project that was recently featured on Chrome Experiments at kineticvideo.co.
